painting in public was illegal, so we had to form underground painting committees. ours was headed by cal wilson, and she sat on a large blue throne type thing. people caught painting in public would be arrested and hung. they tried to arrest me for painting in public, but the paint on my brush didn’t match the artwork so they had nothing on me and had to let me go.
there was also a member of the anti-painting Ministry who looked a lot like David Tennant of whom i had a Romeo/Juliet type relationship with - from the other side of the system, but we were in love, and he was trying to protect me so i could still be a member of my underground painting gang, so when i painted in public at midnight with my underground painting gang, he would be our lookout.
it was actually heaps intense, and when i woke up i felt like i’d been watching a tv serial.
